Our Culture & Values - The Blueprint

Culture: we define it as “how we do things here.”  More than nearly any other factor, it is a company’s culture that cultivates the hearts and minds needed to create truly exceptional work. Oh, and it also ensures that your team isn’t consistently leaving the office feeling downtrodden to the sad, plinky piano tune of one Charles Brown. At Findsome & Winmore, we’re proud of our positively {CLASSIC} culture and want to share our blueprint of success with you.

Wake up and be a champion for your clients every day.

As soon as the sun comes up (or sometimes before), we’re thinking about how to help our clients FIND and WIN new customers. Our clients would never settle for anything less than champion-level work and we never settle for being the runner-up.

BE DEPENDABLE. Always do what you say you’re going to do.

When we say it, we do it. We aspire to be the kind of place where you know you can count on the person sitting next to you.

Listening is key. Ask a ton of questions and take a ton of notes.

You speak, we listen. We can’t do our job unless we not only hear you, but deeply understand your wants and needs. Oversharers are welcome.

Be a pro. All the time.

Professional isn’t just something to slap on a job position. We enjoy being artsy fartsy — a little goofy even — but we are dead serious about our work and our clients. We also believe that being creative doesn’t require you to talk like a sailor or wear a t-shirt and flip-flops to an important meeting.

We, us and our instead of I, ME, and MINE.

“It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.” ~ Harry S. Truman

There’s only one way to do things: the right way.

Corner cutting and laziness is strictly prohibited. It’s not worth doing if it can’t be done well.

Be nice. Build good relationships.

The good ol’ golden rule. Whether dealing with clients or team members, it’s vital to get work done well, on time and within budget, all while not being a jerk.

Say what you mean. Mean what you say. Don’t say it mean.

Do you know who no one likes? Liars and rude people. We like to be liked, so we prefer politeness and telling the truth over the alternative every time. At the same time, don’t be afraid to have that tough conversation.

Do work that makes you proud.

Our name is on everything we do, and with it, our reputation. If we’re not proud of it, it doesn’t go out.

Never stop learning and share what INSPIRES you.

Innovation is rarely made in a vacuum. We go out, get our knees scraped, play in the mud and always stay students of our craft.  Read, discover, explore…and report back to the group.

Don’t take yourself too seriously.

Yes — fun is necessary. Maintaining a sense of humor is serious business to us.

Be flexible if things don’t go as planned.

The funny thing with spinning plates for a living, as we do, is that they often wobble in oh-so-unexpected ways. We have the flexibility and dexterity to adapt to the unexpected and excel where others may watch that beautiful china shatter on the floor.
